Welcome
Welcome to our web site for Goldfield Ranch homeowners and
land owners. We’re glad you are here!
Whether you’re looking for current events in Goldfield,
newsletters, and dates for HOA meetings, our history or newcomer information,
you’ve come to the right place. We think you’ll find our site pretty
comprehensive. Of course, anytime you’d like, you’re also welcome to contact us
personally.
Goldfield Ranch sits on the eastern slope of the lower Verde
River Basin surrounded by Tonto National Forest. The views here are nothing
less than spectacular, and the desert solitude is the single greatest attraction
to our area. Outstanding views are our hallmark. Beautiful homes are scattered
among the rolling desert hills and natural unadulterated Sonoran desert
surrounded by Four Peaks, the Superstitions and the McDowell Mountains. Dirt
roads that wind through the nearly 5,000 acres of Goldfield Ranch lead to almost
90 remote horse properties and spacious custom homes far from the Valley’s
bustle.
OUR MISSION
Our association was formed to protect and promote the best
interests of the residents of the area; to promote and strive for the
improvement and betterment of all public facilities and services within the
area; to protect and enhance the property value of the homeowners’ properties;
to promote and encourage a better community and civic spirit and to foster good
will and friendship between and among all residents of the area. We are a
voluntary group, formed in 1995, to provide a forum for discussion and
development of action plans to improve life on the Ranch.

Over the past year, the Goldfield Ranch Homeowners
Association Board of Directors (GRHA) has had the opportunity to communicate
with the representatives of the Goldfield Preserve Development, L.L.C. and
Mr. Don Kile on many occasions. We have had numerous telephone
conversations, emails, and face-to-face meetings. During these discussions,
we have sought to reach common ground. We would like to see the Preserve be
a viable, healthy addition to our community, while at the same time, not
causing irreparable damage to the rural lifestyle that the current residents
of Goldfield Ranch enjoy. On 10/17/07 the GRHA BOD had a meeting with the
Goldfield Preserve Development representatives, that lasted almost three
hours, they addressed a list of 26 of our concerns (click
here). Almost all of these issues were resolved in a manner that we
deemed favorable. Because of the developer's willingness to hear and
respond to our needs we can give the Development Master Plan Amendment for
the Preserve at Goldfield Ranch a “qualified endorsement.” The
qualification exists because, although agreed to in principle, our areas of
concern have been resolved only on paper. As the Preserve project
progresses and things become more concrete, we are confident that the
outcome will be workable for both parties. (click

Verdugo).
